GM: How and when did you get started in pro wrestling?
AP: ) I got my start in the business through my brother in law who was a wrestler at the time. My first pro match was when I was about 13 1/2. I started with several very small local promotions and worked my way up.
GM: What got you interested in pro wrestling?
AP: Well, I think anyone in the business has to be a fan first, and that's the way I got interested- I was a big time wrestling fan and went to shows and stuff, and I was always just so envious of the guys so I decided Hey, that's what I wanna do.
GM: How did you come up with your wrestling name?
AP: To be honest, I didn't. It was brought into play by the promoters when I first entered the NWA. I originally came in as Kid Ego, but they have helped me develop a new persona and basically give me new vigor to my character. I'm putting a whole lot more of me into the character I'm doing now.
GM: What promotions do you work for, and have worked for in the past?
AP: Right now, I'm basicaslly only working for the NWA, be it in Georgia or Nashville. The company is keeping me pretty busy and has me working a lot of dates, so I am pretty much on a full schedule. As far as in the past, I have worked for a number of smaller, less known promotions. The only one that deserves mention is the North American Wrestling Alliance out of Atlanta, Georgia. I had a long run with that group, and the promoter, Danny Dees treated me very well.
GM: What goals do you have in the wrestling business?
AP: My biggest goal in the business? I hope I don't burn any bridges here but I think that my biggest goal is to work for the World Wrestling Federation. They have such a great show, and so much talent.
GM: Who do you look up to in the wrestling business?
AP: There are so many different ways to look up to someone, it's hard to say. You can look up to someone for being a great wrestling mind, or for knowing how to package someone, or even for knowing how to set up shows. But if you're talking about in-ring performance, I would have to say Shawn Michaels. He is just a great wrestler and a true performer.
GM: You recently won the NWA NA Tag Straps with CASSIDY O'REILLY, who do you see as opponents for you in the near future?
AP: Yeah, me and Cass just won the N.A. Tag Titles. To be honest, I think that there are too many good teams in the NWA to pick who should get a shot first, but in the future I definitely see matches against the Sex Pistols. They are a great team with a lot of good double team moves and a ton of potential. New South, Corey Williams and Ashly Hudson, they just have such great chemistry as a team. Also, I would like to wrestle Ladies Night Out, or even The Black Sheep. Like I said, there is just so much good talent in the NWA right now, I don't know who to wrestle first. I just hope me and Cassidy continue the success we've enjoyed so far, we haven't been a team for very long, but we're already the team to watch. Everybody had better look out for the Hot Shots.
GM: Do you have any other comments you would like to make?
AP: Yeah, lastly I would just like to thank you for taking the time to do this interview, and thank you for everything. Keep watching.....
